About Me
I am Gemma Cockrell, a PR Account Executive at Tank, based in Nottingham, UK.
I have a First Class undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham and an Master's in Magazine Journalism from Nottingham Trent University with Distinction.
I also have an NCTJ Level 5 diploma with gold standard.
I am a freelance journalist, having written for the likes of LeftLion, DIY, God Is In The TV, When The Horn Blows, Gigwise, Voice Online, The Rodeo, Clunk, 5-9, and more. I am also the co-founder and music editor of The Notts Review.
I host a motorsport podcast called Down To The Tyre, which can be found on YouTube, Spotify, and other platforms, as well as on Instagram, @downtothetyre.
Prior to my current roles, I was assistant editor and music editor of LeftLion, music editor of Impact Magazine, features editor of The Mic, and a copyeditor at Feeder Series.
